chase time tonight, I want to install the software vulnerability that is very important is Mutillidae. mutillidae I use is 2.3.4. how do I install it? we see below.
First, prepare XAMPP. point is as localhost. because mutillidae is localhost.
for that has not been downloaded XAMPP can grab here.
because it is still in the form of extracts, we extract the downloaded file the form. tar.gz. type:

root @ bt: ~ # tar-zxvf xampp-linux-1.8.0.tar.gz-C / opt

-C / opt intention is that the results can install into the folder / opt
then run the command:

root @ bt: ~ # / opt / lampp / lampp start

if successful it will be as follows:

then open it in a web browser, type in the address bar http://localhost/
will appear as follows:

if like the picture above then install XAMPP you succeed.

Install Mutillidae
then we started to install Mutillidae the way, download files mutillidae here. then extract the downloaded file by:

root @ bt: ~ # unzip mutillidae-2.3.4.zip

once extracted, then move mutillidae folder to / opt / lampp / htdocs /, to be accessible from localhost. how to enter:

root @ bt: ~ # mv mutillidae / / opt / lampp / htdocs /
to check whether it has been copied or not, go to the / opt / lampp / htdocs / by typing:
root @ bt: ~ # cd / opt / lampp / htdocs /
then the next type:

root @ bt :/ opt / lampp / htdocs # ls
it will appear as follows:

if it do checks on the web browser and type in the address bar:

localhost / mutillidae /
